The New Horizon Program is a therapeutic day program which comprises physical, social, cognitive and creative arts aspects. Each structured activity is designed to promote feelings of pleasure and enjoyment for the senior. where at the same time increasing their level of independence. Those who participate take part in activities that are modified , so as to ensure a successful experience for the senior. Some of these (modified) activities inculde bowling, kickball, quilting, sewing, beading, collage and assemblage, not to mention the R.O.A.R. Program with school kids.

The program is directed by the Director of Nursing , a Registered Art Therapist and an additional staff of Certified Nurses Aides who oversee the recreational programs daily.
